Our commitment

We are committed to both the UN Global Compact initiative and UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, while we also strive to add direct value to the communities that we operate in.

To achieve this, we always aim to do business in a financially, environmentally, and socially responsible way.

UN Global Compact

The Global Compact is the world’s largest
global corporate sustainability initiative.

Sustainable Development Goals

Are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed
to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

We have committed ourselves to UNs Sustainable Development Goals; Decent Work and Economic Growth number 8,  Responsible Consumption and Production number 12 and Climat Action number 13.

We believe these goals address the challenges we face as a global organization.

WORKING WITH STENA

One of our focus areas within the UN Global goal 12 has been to work with our production waste to ensure that as much as possible is recycled, and at the same time make it manageable for our employees to work with waste sorting in everyday life.

In connection with this, and in consultation with Stena Recycling, we have divided our waste into many different fractions in order to achieve as high a recycling percentage of our production waste as possible. We are continuously investigating further sorting in order to achieve an even higher recycling rate.

We can now keep our aluminum scrap within the country’s borders, where before we drove it out of the country. In this way, Co2 emissions are saved, which benefits both the environment and us. Read more about our collaboration with Stena Recycling in the article below

Our certifications

IATF Certification

To satisfy the high standards demanded by our automotive customers, we must constantly live up to IATF certification. The IATF is a group of automotive manufacturers and trade associations, formed to provide improved quality products to automotive customers worldwide.

IATF 16949 focuses on a process-oriented quality management system that delivers continual improvement, defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. This is to ensure that we meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.

Certification lasts for three years and is monitored with annual surveillance audits and a three-yearly recertification audit.

ISO 14001, ISO 50001:2018 pkt. 6.3

We are proud to also have achieved ISO 14001 certification. This certification is recognition of our achievements in reducing our environmental footprint by reducing energy consumption and waste.
